Compatible breeding partners for Event-Special plants

After the recent 'Small Changes', only compatible breeding partners are shown for a given flower.
I have two questions concerning the event plants.

1. Easter Bunnies, Witch Mushrooms and Christmas Trees have no compatible partners. Does it mean they won't be able to breed? Or maybe compatible plants will be released in the future, before their breeding season?

2. In the past, Christmas Trees could be bred to Poinsetias, producing Christmas Stars. Will this crossing be possible again in the winter season, or is it gone forever?

The breeding options for event plants show up only during their seasons. Same for the crossbreed between Christmastrees and Pointsettas, they only show up during christmas time.

Ah I see But on the other hand, Jack-o'Lantern can be bred to a Pumpkin, Lucky Clover to a White Clover, Marvel Fern to Male Fern and Heart of Valentine to Bleeding Heart. Ah, and Christmas Star can be bred to Poinsettia.
So throughout the year, these event plants can be bred, but the result will be regular pumpkin, white clover etc., right?

Danke. Mir fiel es beim Tränenden Herz (Bleeding Heart) auf. Ich sah erst verdutzt und dann happy aus. Das erweitert für einige normale Pflanzen die möglichen Kreuzungspartner.
