I always do a raindance, and I get lots of snails.
OTOH, collecting them doesn't seem to have much of an effect on the plants. I did some testing, collecting snails from some plants and leaving them on others. They still grew up more or less at the same time.

I like the super secret idea very much, it's somehow more exciting than just a gift exchange.

I also gave you a wow. But what is it good for, do you get a prize or something?

BTW, I don't understand the difference between secret and not so secret. People will always know who the gift is from because the seed collector appears on the plant page. Or am I missing something?

Oh, and can we do the same with dragons?

Alia, I have the same problem, even with the non-Christmas version. That's why I don't play this minigame at all. I do like the new Christmas design, though.

Just to confirm that I have the same issues when following the pixies without refreshing the greenhouse page first (happens with FF, any of the last 5 versions).

Concerning the clouds: I thought as long as you log in every day and click on your plants (watering them, collecting snails etc.), cloud removing won't be an issue. At least I haven't had to do this in a very long time.

Doesn't the Halloween dragon count as a November release? Frankly, I wouldn't mind if there was no release before Christmas. Since the introduction of the Encyclopedia, my dragons keep getting sick a lot and I kind of lost my motivation to check on them all the time, so I'm taking a break for a while.

Thank you, Mia and froglady, for the additional info! I do have the required regular plants for breeding the special ones - except for pumpkins. But it's good to know about the poinsettias since I wanted to give away some spares - I won't do that now, at least not before the event is over!

Dang, that's it, I don't have any regular pumpkins. :-((( Sigh. Ok, next season, I'll know better.

I've been unable to breed pumpkins throughout the event. No problems with Audreys (not sure about tree stumps since I have only one), just with pumpkins. Did anyone else have similar problems?

A big thank you to blobber for posting the announcement on Friday, I would have missed this release completely! Caught some older Halloween breeds as well (from the AP), some with really nice lineages. My favourite is still Alia's Pumpkin, though.

Well, I don't mean to complain, but why are there no longer news messages via the News section on the FG garden pages? It has always been a special thrill to see the News headline change from green to red.
