Very nice, Idril, especially that metal rack your mum gave you! I agree with Mia on the basil, cutting off the blossoms will make it grow stronger and last longer. Not sure about the oregano, though, I've definitely had some flowering several times. Maybe there are different breeds?

Brilliant, every single one of them!
Since I'm still new to all this, I feel slightly overwhelmed by the endless possibilities of lineage building. And I definitely need more egg slots.
-
Welcome, Myon! It's nice to have you here.
I don't know Touhou, but your avatar looks cute.
Looks like Shely has lured several DC players here.
-
Milka, I adopted it, thank you! Should I find another chicken egg in the caves, I will reoffer it here.
Blobber, that sounds awful, you have my sympathy.Edit: Thanks to the new biome feature, I could see that it's a desert chicken. Cool.

-
I've never seen a chicken egg before. Where do you find them? Do they just turn up in the biomes like other eggs?
-
At last! My 14th seed produced the new mushroom! Now I have 2 (1 gifted) and I'm perfectly happy with that. But thanks to everyone who offered to help!
-
Sigh, I must be the only one left without a single new mushroom (out of 13 so far, 3 more to go). And all my bred seeds turned into snail mushrooms. Well, better luck next year. <hope on>
Edit: Thanks for the tip, Mia, got some ferns now.

I caught a very pretty Moonstone - Silver Tinsel fail on the AP, if anyone's interested:
Claim my egg! -
Thank you so much, LadyNova, that was really kind! I love Tsunami Wyverns and hope to breed them one day (once I've managed to catch a couple of CBs
).What, a Dragcave compendium? Really? Woohoo!
-
So beautiful, tawanda, I adopted it - thank you!
I also liked the Tsunami, but it was no longer available... (had to wait because I was egg-locked, sigh). -
Still no new one for me, and no breed-only either (but some more seeds in progress). Oh well, next year, then.
I saw some seeds in the Wild Garden just a few hours ago, but haven't been able to breed my mushrooms since Friday.
BTW, are there any May news?
Corvino: Sent you a PM!

What a night! Great show, great performances, and well done, Austria! I thought Conchita was great, but I wouldn't have expected her to win so many votes from all across Europe (well done, Europe!
). I'm also happy that the Dutch came in second, I really like that song. Sorry about the French getting no support at all, I thought their act was fun. -
I can't see that on a witch mushroom page.
Have another look, it's there (seed page, left column, below the plant stats). And I agree, that sentence needs another be or two.
Maybe also some clarification about the singing of the wild songs (although it's clear from the context that the witches are singing while sweeping the flowerbeds). -
Thanks, Exterminans. I thought as much...
But whenever I look at my tulip patch, it seems to cry out for a touch of white (especially vis-à-vis the snowdrops and spring snowflakes
).Re vegetables: Yes, this has been suggested before (when I was new here, I worked my way through this entire thread
). It's a great idea, especially adding more herbs, but I think this would look better in a new location, like a kitchen garden. -
I had the same happening a while ago, but I don't remember how it was resolved.
Do you see the hourglass icon for loading/connecting? Have you tried refreshing the page/clearing cookies/cache/log out - log in? -
I know we already have quite a number of variants, but I think a white tulip would be nice.

Wow, these are great!!

As a general introduction, this is quite good: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurovision_Song_Contest

The second semi is tonight, and the final will be on Saturday. Youtube clips are usually up fairly quickly. It's mostly a European event (with a fairly generous interpretation of "Europe", including e.g. Morocco, Israel and Azerbaidjan
), but I heard from friends in Australia that many people follow it there as well. -
Just found one of yours, tempestsea, thanks! And thanks to all other seed droppers as well, that was a really nice thing to do.

Oh, DC has a HUGE board, with thousands of people discussing things (on-topic and off-topic). To tell the truth, I found it rather intimidating at first because there were so many sub-forums about stuff I couldn't even figure out after I had read the thread (like lineages *grin*). Now I feel a bit more comfortable about it, and it is certainly a great source of information.
The ARK thread is there: http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=41755 (the badges are on the first page).
A poem about flowers is a great idea! Well, I guess "Daffodils" has already been done, but there are lots of others, like "Gather ye rosebuds while ye may" etc.
