Sorry, I think my wording was a little confusing. What I meant was that a specific breed of holiday dragon will always be the same gender - Yulebucks, Winter Magi and Wrapping-Wings are male, Snow Angels, Ribbon Dancers and Solstics are female, and they will always be like that. However, there's a pattern to what gender the new release each year will be. Christmas dragons have a pattern of two of one gender, then two of other [Yulebuck (male) -> Snow Angel (female) -> Ribbon Dancer (female) -> Winter Magi (male) -> Wrapping-wing (male) -> Solstice (female)], according to this, this year's dragon will be female.
So yeah, that's what I meant. You can't have female Yulebucks or male Solstices, ever.

Whenever I finish a game, it tells me "this link has expired". And I'm definitely not taking too long with them. The last game I played, the pipes one, I solved in about five seconds, but still got that message. Other games took longer, but still less than two minutes. These links seem to be expiring faster than is humanly possible to play.

Last chance to sign up for the Secret Santa. Or Secret New Year Gifting, I suppose. I will assign santas and santees once I wake up tomorrow.

So far the wishlists are very sensible, so don't worry about not being able to fulfill them, even if you haven't played for very long. Also, for making wishlists, you don't have wreck your brains to fill out all three spots if you don't want/need to, just say that you like certain breeds or lineages and that'll work too.

I have occasionally had plants that never get snails, but it's pretty rare occurrence. And it has nothing to do with watering or time - all the other plants in the greenhouse would get snails, just this one particular one won't.

Here in Estonia, Christmas is the biggest family holiday, so it's celebrated by having a large part of the family gather together for a feast. When I was a kid that was often in our place, but these days we go to my grandparents'.

One tradition we have is that in December, before Christmas, children will put their slipper on the windowsill every night and Santa's elves will then put candy or fruit in them. Me and my sister actually had special stockings for it that we hung up on the window. (fun fact: the first letter I ever wrote was to the elves, on behalf of my sister to tell them she wanted chocolate)

Another thing is, we actually meet Santa. He would arrive sometime in the middle of the feast and greet us with the traditional question of "Are there any good children in this house?". Then we would perform to him to get our presents. Of course, it's not a real Santa, but a guy in costume and my family stopped getting one after a while because all the children grew old enough to figure it out. These days we just put all the gifts under the tree.

Okay, this Secret santa will only happen if someone takes charge. Might as well be me.

So, this is how it'll work:
    1. To sign up, send me a message with a small wishlist of three eggs
    2. Sign-ups will close on sunday, GMT-time
    3. On monday, I will have random.org pair everyone up and send you your giftee's wishlist
    4. On 31st/1st we'll send our gifts

Some notes I'd like to add:
Please keep in mind that there won't be time for any elaborate breeding, so you'll likely have better luck asking for 2nd gens or something generic like "Shimmer with clean lineage" than specific patterns. Similarily, catching CBs is a matter of luck, especially for the rare breeds.
The Santas only need to gift one egg. I'm not stopping anyone from giving all three if they can. I'm just saying that if there's something in the wishlist you can't breed/capture, don't feel bad.
The deadline for sign-ups is pretty early, I know, but someone might want a holiday dragon and last year they stopped breeding on 28th, so you'll need to prepare one in advance.
If you can't send your gift on the right day, let me know so I can assure your giftee that they've not been forgotten and will just get their gift later.

Ok, that got wordy, but I hope it'll work.
