Thanks guys! I've added all of yours. Quite a batch we've got there, maybe it's not so impossible to get 100 of these after all.

Thanks guys!
Shely, it's not the colour of the parents that I was asking about, it's if they've produced bred-onlys before. It's for Tawanda's query. I got interested myself because I noticed one of my pinks came from parents that have only bred-only children. I took it out because I realised that I can easily just check myself. I made an excel table to keep track on it. -
Looks like they started breeding right after I went to bed.

Sorry I'm so late with answers, I was sleeping.
Mia - It's pragmatism, it's already 30th so you can expect the WMs pretty much any minute now. Which means any other plant would end up on hold because people will be wanting to get all the shrooms they can. And yes, it would be better to have larger sampling, my original thought was 100, but I wasn't sure how much participation I'm going to get or maybe it would take so long that people get bored before it's done. That's why I said at least 50. I'll be accepting WMs as long as I can though, until breeding is over.
Shely - Thanks, and you're right, I am preparing for the event.
Tawanda - it could be done, but it'll have to happen on a google doc or something, because otherwise my post above will get messy.

Inspired by Shelybear's "Raising Experiments" thread. Ever wonder what the odds are that the seed you just bred will grow up to become a bred only variant? Well, why not try and find out. This experiment will be similar to Shely's, except that instead of parentless, it'll be using bred seeds.
Here's how it's gonna go down:
* The experiments will happen one species at a time
* The experiments last until there's at least 50 plants (though it would be great if we got even more than that)
* Only bred plants will count (obviously)
* Post the seeds you've bred here (preferably with source code) and I'll add them to the list
* Once I have enough plants and they've all grown up, I will calculate the percentage of the bred only variantsSo yeah, this is mainly for my own curiosity, but perhaps you guys would also like to know. In any case it could be interesting.
-
Where did you find out their name?
-
Tj's have hatched and they look pretty interesting. I wonder if they have some sort of party/celebration theme.
-
Mia, I'll send the transfer link then. As for the code thing, well we can't know how others think. Maybe they just wanted to own the codes, but didn't think they'd make good names. Or maybe they did intend to use those as names, but changed their minds. We'll probably never know.
Corvino, that's okay, it happens. It's good to know it didn't get stolen though.
-
The person who took it has a hidden scroll, so I don't know who it was that took it. I think this is the first time my egg has gone like that on FG. Before, i've always got a "I took it, thank you" message on here, which is why I dare use transfer links here. Maybe I should start doing what I did with the Tinsels - post the lineages and then PM the transfers to those who ask for them.
That is a really nice lineage. I might try it myself if I ever get an arrowhead prize.
Mia, do you think you can match this from your own stock? I bred it for a trade that fell through, so I've no problem giving it to you for breeding experiments.

-
Sure, it's been reserved for you.
-
That's clever, Mia. I've never thought of making arrows this way. I should steal that idea for my misgendered Tinsel.
Edit: I did try that and ended up with two Tinsels. Anyone want them? I'll donate them on the DC forums otherwise.

My bunnies can't breed anymore. Looks like Easter is over.
-
Thanks, Walkinslow, but I was talking about caveborns. I'm gonna keep your offer in mind though - I want to make a Gem checker once I figure out with what.
-
I'm still missing a red female, but I'm holding out a hope that gems'll become less rare in the future.
Another shimmercore Soulpeace arrowhead from me - Claim my eggs/hatchlings!
Please name it if you take it. -
I found the last egg. It was lurking on the lineage page of the flower that had grown up most recently. Strangely I had been checking lineage pages, but it only showed up on that one.
-
DC is working again.
Would any of you lovely people breed me a 2nd gen Spring from Sweetling? No rush whatsoever. I have plenty of things I can breed in return.
-
I can't find my last egg either. I've been looking everywhere, but no luck.
