You're right Mia. That vendor definitely wants something in return (an easy something to spot for once).

For those who maybe don't know how to get a Christmas Star: cross a Poinsettia with a Christmas Tree, hold your breath (not for too long though) and there you have your shiny new Christmas Star.
-
Try going to another part of your garden and then returning and it should show up.

@GuesssWho Maybe, considering it's winter, the mouse might be feeling a little hungry ...

I agree truelinor.
Also, I note there has been another growth (a daffodil) in Mysli's post.

I think lorimmel probably said it best (sorry if what I wrote confused the issue). Currently we have absolutely no control over wether we can skew our seeds towards the outcomes we need: be they newer or older.
-
Not only did it make sense but I agree wholeheartedly. The current 'system' is confusing and disheartening especially for those who are attempting to get specific outcomes they may have missed out on in the past.

Congrats to those who have already completed the market quest (I'm still stuck on the first step and no amount of trying or checking last year's posts is helping).
OK, I give up (I think 90 minutes of getting absolutely nowhere is quite enough!).

Don't forget we will also have to plan for the Lucky Clovers & whatever comes out of the Christmas Market as well which will also limit collecting/growing time for the trees (especially as it looks as though most people are getting the older variants).
-
Well, your poinsettia must be in a teasing mood because it has just grown
-
Same thing with a dahlia in idril's post Maybe we have a secret clover and dahlia fan who specialises in caring for these species
-
Thanks for that information, Nisha. Now I know I'll have to start breeding as soon as my first set of trees grows up and be ready for the new Christmas star as well It's going to be a busy month but then that's the way we like it
-
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you
-
It would be really handy to have some clarification on this but I guess we'll just have to wait and see what comes from the first set of boxes.
-
Gosh blobber's seeds grew fast and Lissa's patch is flowering all over but it's rather fun seeing what will 'pop' next
-
New sprouts for both blobber and gruenkern

Aztekior There were 2 breed only roses: - the black and the purple/white ones.

Hmmm, just follow your nose huh?
Actually I'm pretty chuffed with the timing (I've been a bit hair-brained with events this year) so best of luck to all with finding what you want. -
idril You now have another grown pumpkin in your patch
