I'm a bit confused now. Does anyone know if the new variety of lucky clover is breed only?
-
Yay, I was "lucky" again and my first batch of Christmas stars turned all into old variants again.

Seriously, if it´s going on like this next season too I´ll skip those event plants. It´s only frustrating.

Me too. I still have one to grow, but I'm not holding out much hope. -
Someone posted that it was Christmas trees with Poinsettias so that's what I did.

-
That's the Post Pixie palm, lorimmel, so here's hoping it will be lucky for you.

Yes, but breeding Christmas stars was supposed to end last night.
-
What I should have said was that they can breed with Poinsettias. (and did)

My Christmas trees that haven't bred still have the breed option. I don't think anywhere in the US is as much as 12 hours behind us.
Christmas Star 89258 now in the Wild Garden.

Someone has said today is the last day to breed Christmas stars and trees can be bred until the end of January.
I will try to find confirmationNinjad.

From a post by Nisha
QuoteYou can breed/ find the lucky clover until 13.1.2013.
Is this really the last day for breeding stars? SPROUT CHRISTMAS TREE, I NEED YOUR POT!!!

Lucky clover in the wild garden now.

-
Yes, now go to your greenhouse.

Thanks froglady. I'd forgotten we got two seeds. I got two angels and traded with Aztekior.

I am wondering how newer players will get the Post Pixie prize from last year's Christmas market (the Christmas wreath, which was a candle wreath or an angel). They are not breedable and I haven't seen any in the wild garden, but maybe I've just missed them out. I was going to breed mine and send the seed to the wild, but you can't.
I wondered about that one too, and also tried to breed.
Was that the Post Pixie? How did we get two? I can remember swapping last year to get the candleTheses are the wreaths, tempestsea
This is the Christmas StarThere is another variant (or2? ) but I only have last year's.
EDIT: And Nisha explained while I was typing.

Ah, thanks Alia. I wasn't sure if they were breedable all year round.
-
But can we breed now?

At the end of the year you can get the lucky clover from the 30.12. on.
Mine have the breed option now, and a question mark in the Compendium. I have the plain one and the one with the gold leaf.
I'm a bit wary though.
