People have been sending the standard ones in the hope of getting an alt one. Some have got one but they don't know why. Anyway, shikaru can't send them so it must be TJ.
I don't think that's her vase, I think I misread the post and people have been sending them to Gardenia as well in the hope that that's the key.
Shikaru just posted "It has nothing to do with sending/receiving a certain number or type of flower".

I tried sending Lotus, Orchid, Lily to someone. That didn't work.

I just had a look at The Valentine thread on the DC forum. Apparently there's an alt Gardenia that can only be sent by mods - and I THINK there's some way of getting one. See posts by Shikaru.
