Christmas star breeding over? How come?

I just came to breed my second batch of christmas stars and the breeding option is gone
It's still December 29th!

Yeah, I was hoping to get a chance to breed two more before the change-over, but the server is on GMT+1 time, so December 30th started for the server at 5 PM Eastern US time. I was disappointed, too. *crosses fingers for two new ones in the six I managed to breed before then*

*oh oh*. lorimmel was posting at 23:22 h. The event was stopping too early. A day is a day, is not a halfe day. The management was not fixing up the problem till to now. So it gives problems at each event for any users.
