I think I remember a discussion quite a while ago that if you keep asking to remove some clouds, it is supposed to intensify the amount of sunlight your plants get, maybe making them grow faster.
But I could be wrong.... -

If I remember correctly, you can "fill" the sun 3 x instead of once, but what it does is keep the sun full longer, not grow plants faster.
